Viewer Interactions

How viewers interact with your video content

Nesoi videos are designed for active engagement. Viewers can chat with the AI, answer quizzes, participate in roleplays, and navigate content at their own pace.

Chat Interaction

Asking Questions

Viewers can type questions at any time during the experience:

  1. Click the chat input field
  2. Type a question or comment
  3. Press Enter to send (or Shift+Enter for a new line)

The AI responds based on:

  • The current chapter content
  • Your instructor persona settings
  • Interaction notes for the current section

AI Suggestions

The player displays suggested responses that viewers can click:

  • Quick questions related to current content
  • Common follow-up topics
  • Clarification options

Suggestions update as the viewer progresses through chapters.

Chat History

Viewers can scroll through their conversation history to:

  • Review previous questions and answers
  • Reference earlier explanations
  • Track their learning journey

Quiz Interactions

Answering Questions

When a quiz appears:

  1. Read the question displayed on screen
  2. Click one of the answer options
  3. See immediate feedback (correct/incorrect)
  4. View explanation of the correct answer

Quiz Feedback

After answering:

  • Correct answers show confirmation with optional explanation
  • Incorrect answers explain why and show the right answer
  • The AI may provide additional context verbally

Moving On

After completing a quiz:

  • Auto-advance to next chapter (if Auto-Play is on)
  • Wait for viewer to click Next (if Auto-Play is off)
  • AI summarizes key takeaways

Roleplay Interactions

Starting a Roleplay

Roleplay scenarios help viewers practice conversations:

  1. AI sets up the scenario and context
  2. Viewer plays their assigned role
  3. AI responds as the other character
  4. Conversation continues naturally

During Roleplay

Viewers can:

  • Type responses in the chat
  • Use voice input (if enabled)
  • Ask for hints or clarification
  • Request to restart the scenario

Roleplay Evaluation

After completing a roleplay:

  • AI provides feedback on the conversation
  • Highlights what went well
  • Suggests areas for improvement
  • Offers to practice again

Chapter Navigation

Viewers navigate using:

Based on your Settings:

  • Default mode - Viewers can navigate freely
  • Locked mode - Viewers must complete chapters in order

Interrupting the AI

Pause Speaking

Viewers can interrupt the AI avatar:

  • Click the Interrupt button to pause speech
  • AI stops speaking immediately
  • Content remains on screen

Resume

After interrupting:

  • Click Resume to continue from where it stopped
  • Or navigate to a different chapter
  • Or ask a question via chat

Feedback

In-Session Feedback

Viewers can provide feedback during the experience:

  1. Click the Feedback button in the control bar
  2. Type feedback in the text area
  3. Submit to send to your team

Message Feedback

On individual AI responses:

  • Like button for helpful responses
  • Dislike button for unhelpful responses
  • Feedback helps improve AI performance

Accessibility

Keyboard Navigation

Viewers can use keyboard shortcuts:

  • Tab - Move between interactive elements
  • Enter - Activate buttons and links
  • Escape - Close modals and menus

Screen Reader Support

The player includes:

  • ARIA labels on interactive elements
  • Logical reading order
  • Status announcements for changes

Reduced Motion

Viewers who prefer reduced motion:

  • Animations are minimized
  • Transitions are simplified
  • Core functionality remains intact
